My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes (Plus the Best Thanksgiving Prep Guide!)

Thanksgiving is hands-down one of my favorite days to cook, gather, and eat all the cozy foods. If you’re planning your menu or just need a few reliable dishes to round out your table, here are some of my absolute favorites. GF & DF options included!

I’m also linking one of the best Thanksgiving prep videos ever: Pioneer Woman’s Thanksgiving Game Day Prep. It’s such a helpful walkthrough of timing, oven management, and how to stay organized. Highly recommend watching it while you plan!

Now onto the recipes…

Salted Honey Butter Parker House Rolls — Half Baked Harvest

The softest, butteriest rolls you’ll ever make. The salted honey butter topping takes them over the top. These are always the first thing to disappear.

Pineapple Stuffing — The Merchant Baker

This almost tastes like a subtle french toast casserole vibe. Love this one and it's easy to prep!

Gluten-Free Cornbread Stuffing — All the Healthy Things

If you need a GF-friendly stuffing that still feels traditional, this is a winner. The cornbread texture + savory herbs = perfection.

Mashed Potatoes — On My Website

My go-to method that’s super creamy, easy to prep ahead, and reheats beautifully on Thanksgiving Day. Key here is quality butter! I love Kate's salted butter or Kerygold.

Mini Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pies — On My Website

A fun, personal-sized twist on classic pumpkin pie. Bonus: the gluten-free crust is actually good.

GF/DF Chocolate Pie — A Hint of Rosemary

Rich, silky, dairy-free, and completely irresistible. I personally find a lot of Thanksgiving desserts to have similar flavors, so I like throwing in a chocolate option.

GF Pumpkin Cheesecake — Sweets & Thank You

Creamy, perfectly spiced, and made with a gluten-free crust. It’s one of the best pumpkin cheesecake recipes out there and gives a different vibe than the rest of the pies!

Whether you're hosting, bringing a dish, or planning your entire menu, these recipes never miss. And if you want a little inspiration on timing and prep, don’t forget to watchPioneer Woman’s Thanksgiving Game Day Prep, it’s such a good blueprint for staying sane and organized.
